Debut of SAS-Audio© at the Hi-Fi & High End Show Ural in May 2024

Over the course of two days, the main Russian exhibition Hi-Fi & High End Show Ural (https://hifishow.ru/) gathered in the Ural capital - Yekaterinburg - more than two and a half thousand music lovers, audio enthusiasts, and many significant professionals in the audio industry market, among whom more than thirty participants were represented. For the first time, a project of audio enthusiasts from Yekaterinburg, SAS-Audio© , took part in an event of this level, presenting to the public its original exhibition, the Scenographic Audio System© , which aroused increased interest and was greeted with admiration by the overwhelming majority of visitors. Confidently picking up where its predecessors left off, the SAS-Audio© Project presented exhibition visitors with an integration of three subsystems, specially designed for holistic placement in the interior:
Visitors had the opportunity to experience Scenery Audio© , a unique stereo system equipped with an uncompromising low-frequency section consisting of six subwoofers, three for each of the two stereo channels, organized in vertically oriented line arrays, as well as an innovative midhigh-frequency section consisting of four true ribbon tweeters, and four original midwoofers of audio engineer and bass guitarist Phil Jones (Phil Jones, USA), arranged in a scenographic way: with horizontal panning, and forming two triangles of stereo projection in pairs - frontal and panoramic, working together, enriching in their totality the usual reading of stereo systems as such, and constituting a unique formula for scenographic sound from SAS-Audio©.
At the same time, the author's exposition of SAS-Audio© made it possible to clearly see what a modern premium audio system can look like directly in a home interior, including designer functional furniture - Line Suite© , organized into a single set and an original interior lighting system - Line Light© , which were specially developed by the authors and, together with the audio system itself - Scenery Audio© - constituted a ready-made interior solution that provides the user with the opportunity to “seamlessly” fit it into their interior, and provide a previously unsurpassed level of comfort in the perception of audio content. Scenographic Audio Systems SAS-Audio© , thus, according to its authors, go beyond the usual interpretation of audio systems and blur the lines between Hi-Fi Stereo and High-End Audio. The authors express their gratitude to the organizers of the Hi-Fi & High End Show Ural, to all its visitors, especially to those who were able to appreciate the advantages of our SAS-Audio© system, presented clearly, and expressed their genuine admiration. The authors also express gratitude to their partners - the Ekaterinburg floristry and decor workshop Florans (https://vk.com/ekbflorans), for their help in decorating the exhibition with beautiful floral arrangements of freshly cut flowers, which did not leave visitors indifferent.
But the authors would like to express some especially warm words to Mikhail Kucherenko (“Big Misha”, www.stereopravda.com), a Russian music enthusiast, author of the well-known book “STEREOPRAVDA: The Politically Incorrect History of High End Audio”, who with his creative charisma, invaluable experience, and His characteristic persuasiveness inspired the authors of the SAS-Audio© project to creatively search for a new interpretation of stereo systems as such. In this book, Mikhail identified precisely the “holographic nature” of stereo systems (what we, developing, call them “scenography”) as one of the main, and perhaps their key, advantage. We thought it important to quote it here: “Thus, the degree of manifestation of the primary effect of holographic music reproduction - this Holy Grail of the stereo industry - is, according to the original designation of this technology, the main criterion for assessing the quality of audio systems of the highest level" (“STEREOPRAVDA: The Politically Incorrect History of High End Audio”, page 45, Russianlanguage edition, Publishing House "Time Machine", 2021).
